Exams Officer

 

Part Time (20 Hours per week) plus 4 weeks full time during Summer Exam Season (May-June) and 3 days during the summer break (to coincide with the exam results day)

 Start: September 2022

Band 8 (Pro Rata)

Eskdale School in the beautiful coastal town of Whitby is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised and efficient individual to be our Exams Officer. Eskdale is a smaller than average secondary school which is part of the Whitby Secondary Partnership.  We require a person who is able to work to strict deadlines, follow structured processes and procedures and is focused on the needs of our students. The right candidate will understand the importance of the role and will relish the responsibility of ensuring our pupils’ exams are run efficiently. You will be responsible for both public and internal exams and managing our team of external invigilators. Previous experience of examinations work and experience of using school management information systems to record examination entries and results would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
