Teacher of Violin in groups of 8
Scarborough Music Centre is seeking to employ a teacher of Violin to teach beginner violinists of junior school age. Lessons will take place on Saturday mornings at Music Centre (Scarborough 6th Form College) from 9.30am to 11.00am. Each group will consist of up to 8 children with each lesson lasting for 30 minutes.
The successful applicant must be competent on the Violin and have some prior teaching experience.
The teacher will be required to keep accurate registers of attendance and be responsible in reporting to the Music Centre Manager any absence from week to week.
The lessons will be offered in term time only.
The contract is for a fixed term from 1st January 2020 to 31st August 2020. 1.5 hours per week over 19 weeks. Hourly rate range is £13.97 to £22.10
Scarborough Music Centre is a part of the NYCC Music Service / Music Hub.
