REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR PERMANENT 37 HOURS TERM TIME ONLY PLUS TWO WEEKS

Grade E sp pt 6 – 8 (£17,097.27 - £17,787.54 pro rata. £9.94 - £10.34 per hour)

The role will have a six month probationary period and include the following (see job description and person specification for full details):

  • reception duties over two sites (Lady Edith’s Drive and Barry’s Lane)
  • ICT administrative responsibilities for the Website, Sharepoint and Social Media platforms
  • administrative support for Child Protection, CIN and CLA process
  • administation of personnel and recruitment
  • you may be required to go to the bank / post office and to the Falsgrave Community Centre (3rd site)

We are seeking to appoint someone who is resliant, reliable, flexible and empathic requiring good organisational and communication skills.

Have confidence and experience in using ICT to support the school website, Sharepoint and social media platforms.

Hold a Level 2 or above word processing qualification or be willing to qualify. Be able to remain calm and respond positively to rapid change and busy offices.

Springhead School is an all-age specialist school for cognition and learning – a community special school based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Our pupils have a wide range of learning needs including complex moderate, severe or profound learning difficulties or disabilities.

We are registered for pupils aged between 2 and 19 years and many have a broad range of additional special needs such as autism, physical disabilities, complex medical needs or social, emotional and mental health issues, but all of which are combined with learning needs.
